Source Control Explorer allows you to version control your data in SCM Anywhere Server. You can perform operations like Check Out, Check In Pending Changes, Undo Pending Changes, Branch, Merge and Shelve/Unshelve Pending Changes in the Source Control Explorer.

Team Project Dropdown List

Set current team project by choosing a certain project from the dropdown list.

Folder Tree Pane

The folder tree pane displays as a hierarchical tree on the left side of the Source Control Explorer. It lists all available folders in the current team project.

File List Pane

The file list pane is on the right side of the Source Control Explorer. It displays a list of files in the current folder. The columns displayed in the file list pane is customizable in Tools->Options->File List Columns Tab.

Name: The file name.
Check Out User: The name of the user who checks out the file.
Status: The status of the local coy of the file in the working folder.

Status	Explanation
Normal	The local copy in the working folder has been edited. It matches the version in the database.
Missing	The local copy in the working folder does not exist.
Old	The server copy of the file is newer than the local copy in the working folder.
Modified	The local copy in the working folder is checked out and has been edited. The remote version has not changed
Unknown	The local copy exists in the working folder but SCM Anywhere cannot determine its status.

Modification time: The modification date/time of the remote copy of the file.
Check Out Path: The path to which the file is checked out.
Server Version: The version number of the remote copy of the file.
Local Version: The version number of the local copy of the file in the working folder.
Check In Time: The add or check in date/time of the file.
Size: The size of the file.
Extension: The extension of the file.
