Rename Query

This page contains information on how to rename the query in Issue Tracking Explorer.

Only the Administrators group can rename public queries globally. You must have Manage Public Queries permission to rename public queries in the team project, but you can rename private queries without permission limitation.

To Rename Query

1. Right click the selected query under the Public Queries or Private Queries node in Issue Tracking Explorer, select Rename Query, and Rename Query window will appear, as seen in the following figure:

2. Input the name of the query.

3. Click OK to complete renaming the query.

Window Items:

Query Name

Specify the name for the query.

Finish renaming the query and close the window.

Cancel

Cancel renaming the query and close the window.
