Move Issue

SQL Server-based software configuration management (SCM) tool/system

This page contains information on how to move issues between team projects and issue types.

You must have both Edit Issues and Delete Issues permissions in the corresponding team project to move issues within the team project. In order to move issues across team projects, you must have Delete Issues and Edit Issues permission to the originating team project, and have Edit Issues permission to the destination team project.

To Move Issue

1. Click Move icon available on the top right of the Edit Issue window, and the Move Issue window will appear, as seen in the following figure:

2. Select the destination team project and issue type.

3. Click OK to move the issue to the destination team project and issue type.

Note:

The detailed information of the moved issue is not changed except the team project and the issue type.
You can move issues across team projects and issue types, but you can only copy issues within the same team project and issue type.
Issues linked with changesets or versioned items can only be moved across issue types within the same team project.
