Edit Issue
Summary
This page contains information on how to edit an issue in the system (edit the fields
or tabs of an
issue).
Access Rights
You must have Edit Issues permission
in the corresponding project.
To Edit Issue
1. Double click the query under the Public Queries or Private Queries
node under the selected team project, and the query results window
appears.
2. Double click the issue that you want to modify in the query
results window, and the Edit Issue window will appear, as seen in
the following figure:

3. Make changes to the issue information.
4. Click Save icon to complete the
modification.
Window Items:
Issue Operations:

New Issue: Create an another issue with the same issue
type.

Save Issue: Save the current issue.

Copy Issue: Copy the current issue within the same issue
type. See Copy Issue.

Move Issue: Move the current issue between team projects
and issue types. See Move Issue.

Delete Issue: Delete the current issue.

Watch Issue: Watch or stop watching the current issue.

Issue Details:
-
Title: The concise summary of the issue.
-
State: The current
state of the issue.
-
Priority: The subjective importance and
urgency rating of the issue.

Assigned To: The user who is assigned to
work on the issue.

Description: The detailed information of
the issue.
Issue Tabs:
-
Comment: Comments on the issue, any of which will be
recorded. To add a comment, first click
Edit
tab below. You can preview the comment in
View tab.

Attachments: Attachments of the issue.
See Attachments. Put the
attachment URL in the textbox or select an attachment by clicking the Browse button. The maximum size of an attachment is set by
System Options
under Admin Explorer.

Links: Links to other issues or files that are related to the current issue. There are three link types: Issue,
Changeset and Versioned Item. See Link.

History: History log of any
field changes that have already occurred.
History will not log the operations of copying and moving issues.
Note:
Edit Issue page are decided by
Form Management of the selected issue type
in the current project.
Once added, comments on the issue can no
longer be edited or deleted.
State field only contains the state values that the current user has
permissions to transit. For more information, refer to
Workflow Transition.
