Create Issue
Summary
This page contains information on how to create an issue in the system.
Access Rights
You must have Edit Issues permission
in the corresponding project.
To Create Issue
1. Right click the team project node or the
Queries, Public Queries or Private Queries node under
the selected team project, and select Create Issue,
and
the Create Issue page will appear, as seen in the following figure:

2. Fill in the blanks. Required fields are
indicated with yellow shading.
3. Click Save
icon to add a new issue.
Window Items:
Issue Details:

Title: The concise summary of the issue.

State: The current
state of the issue.
-
Priority: The subjective importance and
urgency rating of the issue.

Assigned To: The user who is assigned to
work on the issue.

Description: The detailed information of
the issue.
Issue Tabs:
-
Comment: Comments on the issue, any of which will be
recorded. To add a comment, first click
Edit
tab below. You can preview the comment
in
View
tab.

Attachments: Attachments of the issue.
See Attachments. The maximum size of a attachment is set by
System Options
under Admin Explorer.

Links: Links to other issues or files that are related to the current issue. There are three link types: Issue,
Changeset and Versioned Item. See Link.

History: History log of any
field changes that have already occurred.
History will not log the operations of coping and moving issues.
Note:
-
You can also open Create Issue page by clicking
Issue Tracking | Create Issue
on the menu bar.

Fields and tabs in the
Create Issue page are decided by
Form Management of the selected issue type
in the current project.

Once added, comments on the issue can no
longer be edited or deleted.

State field only contains the state values that the current user has
permissions to transit. For more information, refer to
Workflow Transition.
