Aging Chart of Team Project

SQL Server-based software configuration management (SCM) tool/system

Aging Chart report shows how many records have been in the selected states for how long.

This page contains information on how to use the field parameters to customize your aging chart. You can choose which fields you want to chart, as well as customize the legends.

Access Rights

Any member of the team project can view the aging chart.

To View Aging Chart

1. Double click Aging node under Reports node in Issue Tracking Explorer, and the Aging Chart of Team Project window appears, as seen in the following figure:

2. Specify the parameters that further define the statistic data associated with the chart, click View button to view the corresponding data table and statistic chart listed on the page.

Statistics Parameters:

Issue type

Filter by issue type. All issues of the selected issue type are listed.

Horizontal (X axis)

In the Interval field, select the unit of the interval, such as Day, Week, Month and Year, and input an integer next to the interval unit.
In the Number of field, input the number of the nodes in the X axis. The default number of the nodes is 7.
In the Start date field, select the start date. The default start date is None which means the date is unlimited.
In the End date field, select the end date. The default end date is current day.

Legends

For each legend you want to specify, do the following under Legends:

In the Field 1 (State) field, select one or more states to be used as a legend.
In the Field 2 field, select a field to be used as another legend. In the Order field, select how to sort the legend (Ascending or Descending).

Show cumulative counts

Check it to show the cumulative issue counts.

Table Tab:

Date: The interval period of the report.
State: The state of the issues.
Issue Count: The number of the records at the corresponding state.
